PROJECTS FOR 2021

I’m happy to say we made it throught the scariest year ever and are now ready to tackle some new projects. This year I’m listing everything I plan to do, this way if I slack off, I have this (and you guys) to keep me on track.

STUDIO

The priority for this year is obviously the studio. Ideally, it would have been done by the end of 2020, but as you know, it just wasn’t in the cards. So we’re trying this again!

As you may remember, we started demoing in the begining of last year but didn’t actually finish (and then one year went by, I’m not sure how) so we picked up where we left off to see if we can get it done before spring. I’m so ready to have a designated space to work, without the cats interrupting every videocall.

MAIN ENTRANCE

Another thing I’m very excited about is to re-do the main entrance/street entrance to the studio. It’s a small-ish project but it will make a big difference as it is the first thing you see when you arrive, and you know what they say about first impressions.

GARAGE

One part of our house that needs A LOT of work is the garage and I always get overwhelmed just thinking about it, but feeling confident we’ll at least tackle part of it this year. Not exactly the prettiest space, but I can always take you along on the journey, if not for anyhthing else, at least you’ll get a few tips on organization.

BEACH HOUSE

This is probably the biggest project of the year, and the one I’m looking forward to starting the most. It’s a partial remodel (that won’t be happening this year) but I’m ready to tackle a few updates that will have a big impact on the space, to make it more modern and functional.

OUTEIRO HOUSES

This project belongs in the 2022 list, but I’m including it here because I’ve already started moodboarding for it, and will be doing some research and sourcing which is always fun, so stick around for the ride.

All of these will have their own post with plans and before pictures, worry not. Of course, in addition to these I’ll have a million tiny projects happening, but this is what is in the works for now.
